When we started Strawberrysoup, we focused our business around 2 towns - Bournemouth and Chichester - and we focused on getting great online results for our clients in both of these towns.

Now that we are coming up to 2 years old, we feel that we can extend our web design, search engine optimisation and e-commerce services to a much wider audience, and have taken the decision to focus on the whole of the South of England - so if you know anyone in the following towns that want a website, get in touch!

We are initially going to focus on promoting our web design in the following towns on the South coast of England :-

• Christchurch
• Poole
• Weymouth
• Southampton
• Fareham
• Portsmouth
• Worthing
• Brighton

We already have clients in a lot of these towns, so we feel that we should be actively promoting the fact that we offer our service in these towns, not just Bournemouth and Chichester!

We are pleased to announce that Neil (Fred) has just got engaged to his long term girlfriend, Sarah (Wilma)…

Neil popped the question whilst away with Sarah for their 4 year anniversary in Wales. We wish them the best of wishes for the future and are looking forward to the wedding in July 2008! Here is their very own website - neilandsarah.net (quite sad we know!)

We have a new online shop! - Why?

We are always buying new books, software and hardware for our business to allow us to keep up with the latest trends in both website design and graphic design.

For this reason we have decided to create an on-line shop to lend our wisdom and recommended books, software and hardware that we feel are important to anyone that is interested in web and print design. All of the products listed in our recommended sections are VERY competitively priced, and we doubt that you will find them cheaper elsewhere.

We plan to change the products every month so you can see what we are reading, playing with or even listen to.

We have recently been approached by Bournemouth University, who wanted to write a profile on us in their “graduates profile” section of their main website. They chose us as we are previous students from Bournemouth University and due to the fact that they wanted to give an both current and potential students an overview into the types of graduates that the University attracts.

We are pleased to announce that our website has been featured in September’s edition of Practical Web Design!

Our website is located within their site review section, and they are more than complentary stating that our website “is a well designed and attractive commercial website”. They continue by saying that they “can’t knock the bright, cheery homepage image, it’s great!”.

We are pleased to welcome Mark Perkins to our team. Mark has a wide range of web skills and joins us as our web developer - focusing on creating and design sites for our clients.

Mark has a degree degree in Oceanography (essential in web design) and is a qualified wind surfing instructor, so we will be soon introducing StrawberrySurf if anyone is interested. Best of luck to Mark in his new job, and we look forward to working with him.

Today marks the day of the launch of our newest website for a London based recruitment company called Quest Selection.

They choose us after seeing the work that we produced on a previous project for another recruitment company. We designed a professional website with imagery of London to reinforce their prominent location in Trafalgar Square, London.

We produced a fully search engine optimised website utilising the latest W3C validated XHTML and CSS. The website was launched within budget and on time.

We have been trying to think about how to best keep our clients, business partners and friends informed of the latest and greatest at Strawberrysoup - and after much deliberation, we have chosen to send a “StrawberrySummary”.

The plan is to send our StrawberrySummary once a month with updates on what we have been up to, what projects we have completed and any other interesting facts from the previous month.

Our first newsletter is available for anyone that is interested, and if you wish to subscribe, feel free to email info@strawberrysoup.co.uk and we will be sure to include you in the next edition.

We are currently in the process of adding our "meet the team" pages to our website. The theory behind this is to increase the exposure of the people behind Strawberrysoup, their background, the projects that they have worked on - oh, and their favourite drink!
